Dashboards should end in a decision
Your connected accountLinkedIn profile · not yet posted
Retail teams have more dashboards than ever. Most of them answer one question well: what happened last week? The harder question is what to do on Monday morning. A report only helps if it ends in a decision. The best ones name the next action, who owns it, and when to look again. That is the standard we hold Acme to. If a screen does not point to a decision, it is decoration. What is the one number your team checks first each week?
Why this works

Makes one clear point about the market in a calm founder voice, and claims nothing the company documents do not support.

Illustrative example. The company, posts, account and source shown are invented, not real data.
The problem

Showing up on LinkedIn is mostly workflow

Having a point of view is the easy part. Turning it into a post that sounds like you, again and again, and getting it out is where the time goes.

Consistency takes effort

Showing up on LinkedIn regularly means finding something worth saying each time, on top of everything else.

Context does not become posts by itself

What you know about your company and market still has to be turned into a post that reads well.

Rewriting is tedious

A first draft rarely sounds right, and each pass costs time you would spend elsewhere.

Voice drifts

Keeping the same tone and the same claims across posts is easy to lose track of.

Authenticity is fragile

Posts that overreach, with invented numbers or stories, undermine the credibility they were meant to build.

Publishing is another step

Moving finished text between a writing tool and LinkedIn adds friction, and it is easy to lose track of what went out.

The difference

Without Kanso, and with it

Without Kanso
  • Thinking up what to post from scratch
  • Writing every post from a blank page
  • Rewriting until it sounds like you
  • Keeping tone and claims consistent by hand
  • Switching between a writing tool and LinkedIn
  • Little record of what was drafted, posted or skipped
With Kanso
  • A draft each time you run it, grounded in your company documents
  • Six content categories that rotate, so posts do not repeat one angle
  • One draft regenerated in place when it is not quite right
  • Edit with a live character count, checked again before it is sent
  • Publish from Kanso to your profile, or copy the text
  • Each publish tracked, and unclear outcomes flagged
What it is

Strategy, content, review, publish, reconcile

The LinkedIn Agent is not a standalone post writer. It is one channel in Kanso, so every draft starts from the same company documents the other agents use.

01

Strategy

Your company documents and brand voice.

02

Content

A founder-voice draft written from that context.

03

Review

You edit or regenerate it.

04

Publish

You press Post now, or post it yourself.

05

Reconcile

Kanso confirms what actually went out.

It drafts. You review. You publish.

Kanso generates drafts when you run the agent, and scheduled runs are built in but currently paused. It does not publish on a schedule or on its own. Nothing reaches LinkedIn until you press Post now on a specific draft, or post the text yourself.

How it works

From your company context to a confirmed post in five steps

STEP 01

Understand

Every draft starts from what Kanso already knows about your business.

  • Reads the company documents Kanso built from your website, including product information and brand voice
  • Grounds claims in what those documents support, and is instructed not to invent numbers, customers or stories
  • Writes in a founder's own first-person voice, not a brand account's
  • Rotates through six categories by day of the week so posts do not repeat one angle

STEP 02

Draft

A run leaves one draft waiting in your Agents Feed.

  • One post per run, aimed at roughly 150 to 220 words, with a one-line hook
  • Run the agent any time to create a draft. A Monday, Wednesday and Friday schedule is built in and currently paused
  • Each draft says why it works, and shows its category
  • A new run replaces the previous draft that has not been posted

STEP 03

Refine

Make the post yours before it goes anywhere.

  • Edit the text directly and watch the character count against LinkedIn's 3,000-character limit
  • Regenerate for a fresh version in the same category
  • Copy the text if you would rather post it yourself, then Mark Complete
  • Posts that were already posted, or are being posted, cannot be regenerated

A dashboard is not a strategy. It shows you the past, neatly arranged. A strategy tells you where to push next. If your weekly review ends without a decision, the dashboard did not do its job, however good it looks. We build Acme around the decision, not the chart.

STEP 04

Publish

Publishing is always your decision.

  • Post now publishes a public, text-only post on your connected personal profile, as written, with no further review step
  • Kanso checks the final text again: not empty, and within 3,000 characters
  • Connect through LinkedIn's own sign-in, and disconnect any time
  • It does not publish to company pages or attach images

STEP 05

Reconcile

Kanso keeps track of what actually went out.

  • Each post moves from draft to posting to posted
  • If LinkedIn rejects a post outright, it returns to draft so you can fix it
  • If the result is unclear, Kanso does not retry, because that could post twice, and flags it for you
  • A background check every few hours finalizes posts LinkedIn confirmed, and never creates one

  2. PostingClaimed once before LinkedIn is called
  3. PostedConfirmed by LinkedIn
If LinkedIn's answer is unclear, the draft stays in Posting, is not retried, and is flagged for you to check on LinkedIn.

A background check every few hours finalizes posts that LinkedIn confirmed. It never creates a post.

Current events

Some posts draw on what is happening now, with sources

For two of the six categories, industry observations and contrarian takes, the agent tries to bring in current web sources. It is best effort, and it never forces news into a post.

  • Only industry observations and contrarian takes try to use current events
  • When nothing relevant is found, the post is written without it
  • A draft that used sources lists them with it
  • Kanso does not know when a source was published, so check it before you post
  • Other categories, such as milestones and lessons, are written from your own documents
LinkedIn Draft: with sources
Contrarian takeGrounded in sources
Simpler reporting beats more reporting
Retail reporting is changing again, and the instinct is to add more. More fields, more dashboards, more reviews. I would argue for the opposite. When requirements shift, the teams that cope best keep their reporting simple and their questions specific. Complexity is what breaks first.

Why this works

Takes a considered, contrarian view on a current topic and ties it back to the company's audience, using only what the source and the company documents support.

Capabilities

What the LinkedIn Agent does

Founder-voice drafting

Writes a first-person post from your company context, aimed at 150 to 220 words, with a one-line hook.

Six rotating categories

Cycles through milestones, build decisions, lessons, industry observations, contrarian takes and feature news.

Written not to invent

Instructed to ground claims in your documents and never to invent statistics, customers, meetings or personal stories.

Current-event sources

For industry observations and contrarian takes, it can draw on current web sources and lists them with the draft.

Regeneration

Replace the current draft with a fresh version in the same category.

Editing with checks

Edit the text, watch the count against LinkedIn's 3,000 characters, and have the final text checked before it is sent.

Direct publishing

Post now publishes a public text post on your connected personal profile. Copy gives you the text to post yourself.

Publishing status

Each post moves from draft to posting to posted, and a publish that cannot be confirmed is never retried.

Secure connection

Connect through LinkedIn's own sign-in, with credentials stored encrypted. Reconnect when access lapses, or disconnect any time.

Built differently

One channel in a marketing system

Many tools stop once the text is written. Kanso starts from your strategy and keeps going until it knows what happened to the post.

Starts from your strategy

Drafts come from the same company documents as Kanso's other agents, so your voice and your facts stay consistent across channels.

Written to stay honest

The agent is told to ground claims in your documents and not to invent statistics, customers or personal stories, so a post does not overreach.

Publishing you can trust

Each post is claimed before LinkedIn is called, so it cannot be sent twice. Unclear results are flagged instead of retried, and confirmed posts are recorded.

Why LinkedIn

Where professional audiences read about work

LinkedIn suits a few kinds of marketing especially well.

Founder visibility

A founder's own voice puts a face and a point of view in front of a professional audience.

Industry commentary

Add a considered view to topics your market is already discussing.

Company updates

Share what has shipped or changed, in plain words, close to when it happens.

A professional audience

LinkedIn is where buyers, peers and partners expect to read about work.
