Know where to show up before you have a marketing hire.
Kanso reads your website, finds the Hacker News and Reddit conversations your product could belong in, and drafts founder-voice posts for LinkedIn and X. You decide what to say, and you post it yourself.

At a glance
Nobody has heard of you yet, and nobody is assigned to change that
A founding team has a product and limited runway. Marketing happens in the gaps, usually late.
You do not know where your audience talks
Which communities, which threads and which keywords matter is not obvious from inside a new company.
A launch is one chance at attention
Posting into a community without knowing its conversation, or sounding promotional, can cost the goodwill you needed.
Claims have to be careful
A young company has no proof to lean on, and invented numbers or stories damage what credibility it has.
From guessing where to post to a short list with reasons
Kanso does the looking and the first draft. It does not plan your launch or post for you.
- Searching Hacker News and Reddit by hand
- Writing every post from a blank page
- Explaining your product again to every tool
- Five company documents written from your website, which the agents share
- Conversations collected with the reason each one matters
- Drafts that are told not to invent statistics, customers or stories
Research first, then your own voice
Hacker News and Reddit show you where to take part. LinkedIn and X give you a first draft.
Hacker News Agent
Searches the keywords you set, such as your category or the problem you solve, and judges which conversations are worth your time.
- It produces
- Research notes, including a title idea when a submission looks worthwhile.
- Where it fits
- Finds where your topic is already discussed.
Reddit Agent
Checks recent posts in subreddits chosen for your business and drafts a reply only when one would genuinely help.
- It produces
- Reply drafts for existing threads.
- Where it fits
- Finds threads where an answer is wanted.
LinkedIn Agent
Writes one first-person draft per run from your company context, in a founder's voice.
- It produces
- A LinkedIn draft of about 150 to 220 words.
- Where it fits
- A post of your own.
X (Twitter) Agent
Writes three short drafts per run on different angles, in a company voice or a founder's first-person voice.
- It produces
- X drafts within 280 characters.
- Where it fits
- Short posts of your own.
A first routine for a small team
Five steps. Kanso reads and drafts; the founders choose and post.
- 01Kanso
Write your context down from your website
Enter your website and Kanso reads the homepage and the same-site pages it links to, then writes five documents, including product information and brand voice. A thin site gives it little, so read and correct them.
- 02You
Choose your Hacker News keywords
Set up to eight words or short phrases, such as your category or the problem you solve. With no keywords the Hacker News Agent recommends nothing. Reddit's subreddits are inferred from your site.
Find the conversations
It searches stories and comments from the last 48 hours for each keyword, scans five Hacker News lists, and gathers the context around each thread. Reddit checks recent posts and drops many as not worth a reply.
Draft your own posts
Run the LinkedIn and X agents for drafts from your company context. They take no brief, so edit each one to say what you actually mean.
- 05You
Take part, in your own words
Read the thread. On Reddit, edit the reply and press Post to Reddit, or copy it. On Hacker News, write anything you post yourself. LinkedIn and X post only on your click.
What you receive
Each item waits in your Agents Feed with its reasoning.
Hacker News research notes
Which of your keywords matched, why the thread matters, what to take care over and the evidence used. Notes only, never a finished comment.
Reddit reply drafts
A reply built from your product information and brand voice, with a flag on any claim you should check.
LinkedIn and X drafts
Founder-voice posts from your company context, with a short rationale for the angle.
You are the voice. Kanso is the research.
A young company's credibility is its own, so every post goes out only when you send it.
Kanso does
- Searches and filters recent conversations
- Drafts replies and posts from your documents
- Re-checks the final text before it is sent
You decide
- Which conversations to join, and whether to join at all
- What each post says, and whether it is true
- When to post, from Kanso or by hand
Kanso never
- Posts to Hacker News
- Posts to Reddit, LinkedIn or X without your click
- Plans or runs a launch
Where this fits
Situations, not results. What turns up depends on your keywords and your site.
You are weeks from showing the product
Set keywords for your category and read what the Hacker News Agent finds, to see how related work is discussed.
Someone asks for tools like yours
A Reddit scan can surface the thread and draft an answer for you to rewrite and post if it helps.
You need a post but have no time
Run the LinkedIn Agent for a first-person draft, then change the details to match what really happened.
How Kanso approaches a team of two
Each point is something the product does today.
It starts from your site
The company documents come from your public pages, so there is no long questionnaire before anything is useful.
Research stays research
Hacker News is never posted to, and every other post needs a click.
Drafts are told not to invent
The writing agents must ground claims in your documents and never make up statistics, customers or stories.
What Kanso does not do for startups
A first marketing effort needs more than these agents.
It does not plan or track a launch
There is no launch mode, timeline or tracking. The launch page describes what existing agents can contribute.
It does not take a brief
LinkedIn and X drafts come from your company context. You cannot ask for a post about a given announcement.
It does not reach people by itself
No outreach, email, direct messages or influencer introductions. It finds conversations, and you take part.
It does not schedule or measure posts
There is no scheduler and no impressions, reactions or follower figures.
It cannot know what your site does not say
The documents come from your public pages, so a new or thin site produces thin documents.

Questions about this use case
Can Kanso help before I have any traffic?
Yes, for research and drafts, which need only your website. Article drafts need Search Console data, so they come later.
Will Kanso post to Reddit, LinkedIn or X for me?
No. Reddit replies, LinkedIn posts and X posts go out only when you press the button, and Kanso never posts to Hacker News.
Can it plan my launch?
No. Kanso has no launch workflow. It can find conversations and draft posts, and you decide the sequence.
What if my website is only one page?
Kanso can only work from what your pages say, so the documents will be thin. Read them and edit what is missing.
Do I need a Hacker News or Reddit account?
Hacker News needs none. Reddit needs a connection only if you want to post from Kanso. You can also copy a draft and post it yourself.
Will the drafts sound like us?
They are written from your brand voice document, which Kanso builds from your site. Edit the document, and the drafts follow it.
