Reach people looking for an app like yours through your website and communities.
Kanso analyses your app's website, finds the Reddit and Hacker News conversations around your category, and drafts articles from your Search Console data. It works on the web around your app, not inside an app store.

At a glance
An app has to be found away from the store as well
A store listing is one place people find an app. The rest happens on the web: a landing page, a forum thread, a search.
The website is often one thin page
A single landing page gives search engines and AI systems little to read, and often lacks a proper title, description or canonical link.
Launch attention fades fast
A burst of interest around release is followed by silence, and nobody has time to keep showing up.
Communities dislike promotion
Subreddits and Hacker News reward useful answers and punish obvious self-promotion, so a careless post can backfire.
From a store listing to a presence you can see
Kanso looks at the web side of your app. It does not look at the store, your installs or your users.
- Guessing which forums discuss apps like yours
- Learning that the landing page lacks basic tags after launch
- Writing every post and article from scratch
- Recent Reddit and Hacker News conversations collected, with reasons they matter
- An analysis of your landing page and other public pages
- An article draft for a query your site already appears for, once Search Console has data
Communities, your site and your content
Reddit and Hacker News look outward. SEO and Writer work from your own site and its search data.
Reddit Agent
Checks recent posts in subreddits chosen for your business, when Kanso can name real communities with confidence, and drafts a reply when one would help.
- It produces
- Reply drafts for existing threads.
- Where it fits
- Finds threads where an answer is wanted.
Hacker News Agent
Searches the keywords you set, such as your app's category, and judges which conversations are worth your time.
- It produces
- Research notes, including a title idea for a submission.
- Where it fits
- Shows how related apps and ideas are discussed.
SEO Agent
Analyses up to 25 public pages, such as your landing page, and turns Search Console data into recommendations.
- It produces
- Findings on the tags, headings and links of the pages that point to your app.
- Where it fits
- Makes the web page that points to your app easier to find.
Writer Agent
Picks a Search Console query where your site is not on page one and drafts a long-form article.
- It produces
- A Markdown draft for review.
- Where it fits
- Needs search data, so it comes once the site has some.
A web presence routine for an app
Five steps. Kanso reads and drafts, and you decide where your app appears.
- 01Kanso
Describe the app through its website
Enter your website and Kanso reads the homepage and the same-site pages it links to, then writes five company documents. It reads the website, not the app, so say there what the app does.
Check the page that points to the app
Kanso reports on titles, descriptions, canonical links, headings, links, robots.txt and sitemaps for up to 25 pages, and can run Lighthouse on request.
Find the conversations
Set up to eight Hacker News keywords. Kanso searches stories and comments from the last 48 hours and scans five lists. Reddit checks recent posts in subreddits inferred from your site and drops many.
Draft from search data, when there is some
Once Search Console shows queries with enough impressions off page one, the Writer Agent picks one and writes an article. A new site may have none, and then it writes nothing.
- 05You
Take part, in your own words
Read each thread, edit the Reddit reply and press Post to Reddit or copy it, write any Hacker News comment yourself, and edit any article before you publish it elsewhere.
What you receive
Everything waits in your Agents Feed with its reasoning.
Landing page findings
Recommendations naming the page, the reasoning and the data.
Reddit reply drafts
A reply from your product information and brand voice, with a flag on any claim to verify.
Hacker News research notes
Why a conversation matters and what to be careful about. Never finished text.
An article draft
Long-form Markdown for a query your site already appears for.
You post, you publish, you decide where the app appears
Nothing reaches a community, a store or your website without you.
Kanso does
- Reads your public site and recent conversations
- Drafts replies, posts and an article
- Records the tasks you open
You decide
- Which threads to join and what to say
- What to change on your site
- Whether and where to publish a draft
Kanso never
- Posts to Hacker News
- Posts a Reddit reply or an X post without your click
- Touches your store listing
Where this fits
Situations, not results. They depend on your site, your keywords and your category.
Release week
Set keywords for your category and read the Hacker News research to see how related apps are discussed.
A single-page website
The SEO analysis shows whether the page has a title, description and canonical link, and whether crawlers can read it.
Someone asks which app to use
A Reddit scan can surface the thread and draft an honest reply for you to edit.
How Kanso approaches app marketing
Each point is something the product does today.
It works on the web around the app
Your website, search data and public conversations are where it looks, and it says what it cannot see.
Community research is judged, not just matched
A keyword match alone never produces a Hacker News recommendation, and many Reddit threads are dropped.
Drafts avoid invention
The writing agents must not make up statistics or stories.
What Kanso does not do for mobile apps
Much of what makes an app grow happens inside the store and the product.
It does not touch app stores
No store listing, store keywords, ratings, reviews or screenshots. Kanso has no app store access.
It does not see installs or in-app behaviour
No downloads, retention, events or revenue. It reads your public website and search data only.
It does not edit your app
The Coding Agent changes tags in static HTML for a web page. It does not touch app code.
It does not post for you, or read subreddit rules
It never posts to Hacker News and sends a Reddit reply only on your click. Check each community's rules first.

Questions about this use case
Does Kanso connect to the App Store or Google Play?
No. It has no app store access and does not read listings, ratings, installs or reviews.
What does it read, then?
Your public website, your Search Console data if you connect it, and recent public conversations on Reddit and Hacker News.
Do I need a website for my app?
Yes. Kanso starts from a website. A thin one gives it little to work from, so the documents and findings will be thin too.
Will it find the right subreddits?
It infers up to eight from your website when it can name real communities with confidence. You review what turns up, and check each community's rules.
Can it help with launch day?
It can find conversations and draft posts, but Kanso has no launch workflow. The launch page explains what it can and cannot do.
Does Kanso post to Reddit or X for me?
No. Reddit and X posts go out only when you press the button, and Kanso never posts to Hacker News.
